Hi, I’m Francis, a Taiwanese photographer based in Taipei.

Born and raised in Taiwan, I spent several years building my photography career in Los Angeles before finding my way home to Taipei. Inspired by cinema, I’m drawn to the quiet, honest moments in between. I’ll guide you when needed, but mostly I want you to feel comfortable and enjoy being yourselves.

We live abroad most of the year and usually only come back to Taiwan to visit family, so we really wanted to bring a little piece of Taiwan back with us. Neither of us had much experience posing for photos, but Francis’s guidance and prompts made everything feel easy and relaxed. The photos turned out exactly as we’d hoped and captured our time together in Taipei so beautifully!

We had such a great time shooting with Francis! He was super kind, professional, and really easy to work with. We sent him our Pinterest mood board beforehand, and he totally understood the vibe we were going for. We shot during Chinese New Year, so the streets were really packed, but he guided us through everything and somehow made it all feel easy and fun. We also loved the creative angles he came up with.
